BBQ Tropical Fruit Kebabs
Submitted by stean 21 July 2011
These are great on thier own, as a dessert or as a side to meat such as lamb, prok or chicken. They are so easy to make and are great fun for the kids to get involved in.
Ingredients
Strawberries
Kiwi
Pinapple
Lychee
Method
Peel and chop the fruit into similar sized pieces (I go for approximately one inch cubes).
Thread onto pre soaked wooden skewers.
Place on a hot bbq, turning occasionally for approximately 4-5 mins.
Once heated through and slightly caramelised serve up. a sprinkle of finely chopped mint can be added to a bit of extra flavour. Finely chopped chilli also makes a good garnish if using with a savoury dish.
