Apple Coleslaw ( American Recipe)

serve with salad, baked potato, etc.



three quarters cup low fat yog., half cup low fat mayonnaise, 2 tbsp. dijon mustard, 2 tbsp. cider vinegar, half tsp. salt, quarter tsp. freshly ground pepper, 5 cups shredded cabbage ( white), 5 cups shredded cabbage ( red ), 2 cups shredded carrot, half cup chopped spring onion, 1 granny smith apple ( cored and chopped),


In a large bowl combine, yog. mayonnaise, mustard,cider vinegar, salt/pepper, stir well and set aside.
In another bowl combine, cabbage,carrots, spring onions and apple, add yog. mixture and toss well cover and chill for at least 2 hours
