I got this recipe for mashed potato from my mum. She makes the most delicious mash I know. About the ingredients: I think maggi liquid seasoning is available in the UK, doubt the spice mix is. Alternatively use nutmeg.

you will need to strain your mince as, lamb is quite fatty in its own right...but these are so simple and very delicious...and like the Vegetable SAMosa's freeze incredibly well

 
 

Melkkos (Milk Noodles)

My mother used to make this dish for us as a light supper, try it, it's delicious! To save time you can also use readymade thin ribbon noodles, but I am told the dish tastes better with self made noodles.

these are used with most meals in Mexico and can be used as an accompaniment or a starter... with doritos or even a snack in a warmed totilla (check recipe for quesadillas) easy and quick to prepare!
