A very straightforward but pleasant adaptation of Gin and Tonic
a great healthy way to start the day, full of goodness and gives you plenty of energy. while keeping you full up for longer.
this is a lovely dressing to accompany chicken or fish and if there is any left over, it makes a good marinade for pork, either as a stir fry or the base for a curry.
Delicious with breaded pork chops; bratwurst; frikadellen, real pork sausages, gammon steaks etc.
Kohlrabi is seasonal April - July(?) so if you see it in the grocers give it a try.

You can use the traditional way of cooking this in a pan over hot water if you prefer ... One of us on the site (sorry, forgotten who!) tells me this will freeze, better be in a plastic container for the freezer.
A lovely sticky, tangy cake. Don't be tempted to use the 'all-in-one' method - it doesn't work as well. Let me know what you think if you try it!
