We enjoy any green bean cooked in this manner, cut beans to approx 2 inch length, and find it delicious, hot, warm or cold. I have frozen the dish quite successfully. I usually cook this much longer on a low gas.
Not exactly rocket science - you don't really need a recipe, but I've put one here as the photo is on DQ's Picasa site.
Goes brilliantly with a tagine. This is enough for 6-8 people - I normally halve this for 4 people - but it's nice served cold too!
A really easy and nicer than shop bought dressing. Why bother to buy when its this easy!!

When you’ve got the oven on for a roast, why not pop the carrots in too? Roasted they have a wonderfully sweet, dense flavour and smooth velvety texture. Kids will particularly love them.

Parsnips are my absolute favourite winter vegetable and this is my favourite way of cooking them. This sweet winter warming accompaniment is excellent with the traditional Sunday Roast Dinner.

this is a great sauce -spice up stews or on burgers
You can prepare the spiced wine up to 4 hours before your guests arrive and the slo-cooker will keep it at an ideal temp. until you are ready to serve it.
