Delia's Scottish Whisky Dundee cake In her original Christmas book uses 150g of butter. The Traditional Dundee cake in Delia's Cakes only uses 50g of spreadable butter. The two recipes are almost identical so I am wondering if the smaller amount of butter in her more recent book is a typing error? Should this also be 150g because 50g of butter does not seem much for quite a large cake? Clarification of this point will be much appreciated. Many thanks. Ann Parsons

What is the Canadian equivalent of barley wine?
What is Canadian equivalent of stout? Would Guiness substitute?

Many thanks, Bridget in Vancouver
Hi please could you tell me how long before the wedding can i make the cake / how long will it keep . Thanks
Should Delia's Traditional Christmas Pudding be frozen, or is it necessary to freeze?
I have just made the ragu bolognese, which I am told to split into 8 bags for the freezer, but how do I use it when freshly made or thawed out? What recipes can I use it in? Is it the same as an ordinary bolognese sauce which I would use with pasta or in a lasagne? I would normally make a looser sauce for one of those dishes, but this is a fairly solid mass.
I'm making Christmas Cakes for a Christmas Fayre. I've been asked to make a couple of small ones. I have a 4inch cake tin. Would it be ok just to halve the ingredients in Delia's classic Christmas cake for this size of tin.
