I’ve started experimenting making cakes in the microwave (Delias apple cake works really well) but I’m nervous of trying a fruit cake. Any idea if this would work for a Christmas cake?

Bitter mincemeat!

I have used Delia's christmas mincemeat recipe religiously for many years. It's delicious but I made his year's yesterday and it black on colour and tastes bitter and treacle.

Making a Chocolate Truffle Terrine!
Truffle torte recipe - make it every Christmas however this year I’d like to make it in a loaf tin with maybe two layers of the amaretti biscuit - any tips on whether this would work and scaling amounts up/down for that sized tin?
