I have sea salt crystals. 50g seems like a lot when I weigh it out. Should I be using less because it's crystal form?

Using homemade mincemeat straightaway
Hello Lindsy,
Christmas mincemeat - is it O.K to use homemade recipe straight away or should it be stored in the jar to mature some before using it in recipes.

Christmas Cake with marzipan and Mince Pies
Hi Lindsey,
Have made Delia's Christmas cakes 3 weeks ago.
Am giving one as a gift . Recipient doesn't like icing.
So, am wondering how soon I can cover with marzipan & how best to store once covered.
Also, have made Christmas mincemeat, Am planning on making mince pies in advance & freezing.
Could you please advise what tins to use & is it best to freeze baked or uncooked.
