I want to cook the mushroom risotto as it is delicious but have always cooked it as a starter but would serve three people as a main course?

Dairy Free béchamel sauce
Hello
I’d like to make the seafood lasagne for someone who is dairy free. I’m happy about a substitute for the butter in the bechamel, but am unsure about which plant based milk would be suitable with fish. My guess would be oat milk or coconut milk, as soya is strong and almond may be too sweet with fish. I would very much appreciate your advice.
Thank you
Looking for a steamer
Hi Lindsey
I have made the Christmas pud as it was such a hit last year….
I am struggling with a steamer pan… I end up having to wrap oodles of tinfoil around a big pan to make it work…
Could you recommend one that fits the pudding bowl in the recipe - I think it’s about 20cms?
Many thanks xx Kate
Last years Christmas Cake!
Last years Christmas Cake
Hello Lindsey
Am sure this has been asked before so am so sorry for wasting your time
I made a Christmas cake last November for Christmas 2022 but it wasn't used. I did feed it a few times with brandy but since then it has been wrapped in parchment and stored in a cast iron casserole dish
I'd like to gift it this year but obviously would like to know if it would pass muster. I checked it today and it looks and smells ok. There were a couple of white dots on the side of the cake that I took to maybe be crystallised sugar
