Mincemeat in the slow cooker
I make Delia’s mincemeat recipe every year. Was wondering if I could make it in my slow cooker this year rather than using my oven.
Using carnation caramel instead of sugar in cakes
Hello Lindsey. I've been asked by the family to make a Caramel Apple Cake without heaps of sugar!
I've trawled all of Delia's books and can't find anything close. Do you think if I followed Delia's Chunky Apple Cake and subbed the light soft brown sugar for a 397g tin of carnation caramel I might be on the right track?

Christmas Cakes in Loaf Tins
Hi Lindsey,
I make both the classic and creole Christmas cakes for family but requests for cakes has increased and i was hoping to be able to make a couple of smaller cakes at the same time without having to buy additional tins. I have 2 of Delia's 1lb loaf tins - for both the classic and creole cakes, could I make a full batch and then split it between the two tins so I have 2 loafs instead of one large cake? Would that work?

Christmas Cake in a Ninja 15 in 1!
I have made Delia’s traditional Christmas cake for many years and would like to make it in my Ninja 15-in-1 this year. It would be helpful to have suggested times and temperature. Bake or Steam Bake? I’m sure many people will be considering alternative methods now that energy prices are so high. Thank you.
Forgot to add the brandy to the mincemeat
I completely forgot to add the brandy and now the mincemeat is all stored - what should I do?
30cm Classic Christmas Cake
I always make Delia’s Christmas cake . I’m making my daughters wedding cake and thought I’d use Delia’s recipe I have her old complete cookery course book and she had a page for different size cakes
15cm, 23cm and 28cm I thought I’d make all three. My problem is finding the tins I can’t find a 28cm deep loose bottom cake tin. Can I adapt the recipe for a 30cm or do you have any advice please.
Any advice greatly received as I want it to be right. I’ve never had a failure with Delia.
