Cooking Panettone Pudding in a saucepan
Can I use a large saucepan to boil Delia's steamed panettone pudding as my steamer is not large enough to fit the pudding basin? The recipe says to steam a large pudding in a 1.2 litre basin for 2 hours if I boil it how long should it take?

Cooking chestnut stuffing separately
Dear Lindsey
Again this year I will be making chestnut and apple stuffing (Complete Cookery Course) but will not be putting inside the turkey at all. What would the cooking time be in a roasting tin? I want it to be as good as it always is because my family absolutely adore it. One year I mentioned I might try a different stuffing (also Delia) and it almost led to a revolution …

Getting ahead with Dauphinoise
Hi there. Delias Gratin Dauphinois has never let me down. But this year I need to get ahead!. Is it feasible to slice the potatoes and keep them in water in the fridge for 2 days. I want to get ahead on xmas eve as we have a houseful on Xmas day - the gratin is for boxing day when we still have a houseful! thanks
