Using bought puff pastry for mince pie
I have made mince pies using Delia’s mincemeat recipe (of course!) but I ‘cheated’ by using bought puff pastry. I have baked them, planning to freeze & reheat them when needed but the pastry instructions say not to reheat. Why would that be a problem?
Getting ahead with Chestnut Stuffing

How far in advance can the Eighteenth Century chestnut stuffing be made to be kept in the fridge rather than freezing. Is it okay to make it 2-3 days ahead and store it uncooked in the fridge?

Etty’s sausage rolls - How long will they keep for in the freezer? And when you say defrost for 1 hour and then reheat in a hot oven, can you tell me what temperature oven and for how long?
Cooking chestnut stuffing outside the turkey!
I've made the 18th century chestnut stuffing and frozen it in small oven dishes ready for defrosting on Christmas Eve, but we're having a turkey crown this year so I need to cook it separately.
How long and at what temperature should I cook this stuffing at if not stuffed in to the turkey please?!
Getting ahead with fish pie and using frozen fish
Hi, Making Delia luxury fish pie but using frozen fish mix, frozen prawns and frozen scallops, I want to prepare the fish pie the day before Christmas Eve (on 23rd) to then eat on Christmas Eve night. Do I defrost all the fish and seafood first when preparing the fish pie and then keep the made fish pie in the fridge over night.
