Sponge pudding isn't working!
Hello. The last two times I have made the steamed treacle sponge pudding it has not worked and the result is pure liquid with a layer of oil from the butter. I have always been successful previously and my ingredients are always fresh and at room temperature. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
Can I make suet pastry ahead?
Can suet pastry be made in advance and kept in the fridge before cooking, like other pastry?
Steaming a smaller Steak and Kidney Pudding
I am going to make the steak and kidney pudding from the Winter Collection but will be making a smaller pudding using half the quantity of ingredients - could you please tell me whether I still steam for 5 hours or if I should reduce the cooking time at all? Many thanks
