Today I made Smoky Tomato Chutney. I'm a precise person and I measure the ingredients very carefully. But instead of finishing-up with 1400ml of lovely smoky tomato chutney I finished-up with just 700ml? Why? what can have gone wrong?

I can not seem to find delia sponge tins in shops, can i buy them from delia on line? 18cm size
When following oven temperatures, do Delia's recipes take into account fan ovens, or should I reduce the time and temperature? Thanks!
Pot roasting beef. Hi Lindsay I'm never very successful cooking beef.. I have a joint of silverside and I'm roasting it according to delia's recipe as we speak. The problem is I never no when it's done.. If after the three hours it is still slightly tough should I continue to cook it longer at the low temperature or will that Just further overcook it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I have been reviewing the recipe for SUMMER FRUIT MILLEFEUILLE and read about the pastry being put on the "grill". WHAT? This is odd. As it's a summer recipe and in today's world people (at least in the US) have begun grilling EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING I think OK, maybe this is a summer version of this type of recipe. I've made other recipes very similar and bake the pastry in an oven. After going through it again I began to rethink and thought, perhaps when Delia is speaking of the "grill" she means the broiler in the oven. So this is what I need to discover.
Apologies if this question has been asked before. I don't always have time to make a fresh pastry case from scratch. Can I make it beforehand and freeze it? If so, do I cook it first or freeze it raw? Also, do I have to defrost it before putting the filling in or blind bake it from frozen? Many thanks for your help.
