I have made bread for many years but thought I would try a new recipe. I started with Delias easy white loaf the recipe says 3/4 teaspoonful easy bake yeast for 550 Grams of strong white flour. The loaf didn't rise very much even although I left it to prove for the required time.
I have always used a sachet of yeast which is 7grams.
I would like to use Delias recipe as it doesn't require lots of kneading.
