9 Gardening is a great leisure activity that varies in intensity from light weeding work to heavy digging. When lifting, carrying or bending down, aim to put your body weight into your legs by bending at the knees and hips and keeping your back up straight. Gardening is particularly good for building strength

10 Find something to look forward to. If you're going through a hard time, remember that it will pass and you will sooner or later be somewhere where you want to be, or doing something you want to do. Allow these moments to pull you through your present difficulties
