© Parties and gatherings so often present problems, beginning with where you are going to hold the event. You look for a venue, find one at the right price and then – what do you know? – you can’t find a free date because the venue has been booked up months ahead. 
© So, this is where I come in, hoping to encourage you to throw open your own doors, welcome your family and friends, and have a go yourself.
Although there will be a certain amount of hard work involved, it’s not going to be difficult and it can also be enormous fun – and I’m sure you can rope in a few friends to help. The huge plus is going to be the quality of the food because, however inexperienced you are, proper home-made food is usually streets ahead of what’s on offer from caterers – with the exception of Norwich City Football Club, of course!
