Overseas winners

As it happens Sonya we did have two winners in this competition that were out of the UK. Darkginger and Wendy, but they were both able to give me a UK address and their prizes were sent there for them to collect. It was great for us to be able to include our overseas members for once!

competition for oversea members

Never thought to do this,
I guess we just need to change our profile details.

Hi Sue, All you would need to do is to fill in the competition form with a UK address, you don't need to change anything in your actual profile. When we were given the forum names I obviously knew who was not in the UK so was able to give them the option of having it sent somewhere else.

For me it's not practical - too far to send!! But it's a good idea for overseas, but close to UK people.
My father is in UK but old (almost 90) and frail - don't want to bother him with posting prizes!!
Never mind - I think forum competitions are a good idea - other competitions always attract lots of people but they don't bother with the forums.

And finally...

My muffin tin and craisins arrived today after a 'mini tour' of postal depots from West Yorkshire to London, London to Rome, Rome to Cagliari and from there to the little post office in the village then to my house.

Thanks to all concerned and will be using the tin and some of the craisins at the weekend.

Wendy x
