"

James - be brave. OH used to work nights and it took me ages to get used to being alone at night!"

Im not very brave Im afraid!!! :(

Lonely already. Silly really, I like my own company, Im fine when he goes off for meetings all day etc, I like pottering about, but over night, I don't do!

I cant sleep unless someone is snoring next to me! Ha ha ha ha!!!!

Dont think we have been apart for more than about 20 nights in the total of 9 and a half years.

"It is just fab !!!

Good James, surely the solution is a party? "

I've asked a mate if he fancies dinner with me tomorrow night. That will be fun.

I'll have loads of lights on, and a dvd on quiet repeat all night. The sun will start coming up and I will finally sleep.

Normally Im up at 7-ish, but I don't have to be, so these next few days will be a lie in.

I'll survive of course..........

Doesn't seem silly to me - my girl can't stand me being away and we've only spent a few days apart in years.

It makes for interesting business trips but I love it really - and it sometimes works out cheaper than the phone bill would be!

Well, I actually did manage to get some sleep.

Three quarters of a bottle of wine would have helped of course.....

This morning I wore his dressing gown instead of mine! He calls it his "morning gown". LOL!

Chazza, you'd prob get on great with Marc, I see you are interested in Physics and Marc is a Dr of Physics.

I certainly am, has Marc moved on or is he still in Physics? If so, what field?

He's moved on Chazza and is now CEO of an internet firm.

He is still keen on it all though, and I think he keeps up to date.

I used to be kind of intimidated by his intelligence, but not after all these years, we both have our talents. He can't open a can of food!!!

German Food?

Yes, we're a bit off topic here I guess. Still, there's more physics in cooking than meets the eye. Look at those bad microwaves for instance. It's not all chemistry.

Can't really comment on intelligence, but on the whole I've always thought it was generally a good thing.
