Coffee Break

Pan-tastic. I think more 'frequently' would be a better choice of word than 'regularly'. Regularly can mean once a year, lol.

I vote for Coffee Break.I agree that for new people it makes things clearer and those that just want to know about cooking related articles can avoid it.

Coffee Break for me too - I agree that we should have both Coffee Break & What's Cooking forums & amalgamate 2 of the others, under 1 title.

Whats Cooking v Coffee Break.

Wouldn't combining 'Books' and 'Gardening' sound like it was all about gardening books and gardening? Just a thought!!

It could be called *Pastimes* that would cover a lot of interests.

Coffee Break

Another vote for Coffee Break here :) I'm actually having a coffee break right now. Not that I have much to have a break from, being at Dad's and doing not a lot, other than meal planning, placing online food orders, and cooking. Dad's doing ever so well - he lost some weight whilst he was away at Christmas, but have managed to put 3 lbs on him since he got back - and another 4lbs off me, so it's all good!

You are doing so well with your diet!

Thanks!

Cheers :) Am on Day 165 today (gawd!) and still enjoying it. Honestly, I eat better when I'm low carbing than when I'm eating 'normally'. I've knocked the booze on the head since Jan 1st, too - planning on staying off it until St Patrick's day (can't have a dry Paddy's Day!).

I've just done this week's online shop - and am planning Moroccan lamb with apricots, venison shoulder steaks with blackberry and red wine sauce, beef stroganoff, prawn Creole, and chicken paprika (and we're out for Sunday lunch - scallop, pancetta and cauliflower puree starter, roast pork belly main). Duck eggs and bacon for breakfast every day (I generally only eat 2 meals a day), plus loads of unsweetened black coffee. See what I mean about eating well? It's not so much a diet as an indulgence, really, but the weight falls off, so I'm certainly not complaining!

Before anyone goes 'eek!', eating like this actually reduces the bad cholesterol and increases the good, plus does lovely things to your trigylceride levels. I feel so much better now I'm back on 'my' way of eating - just got to make sure I don't fall off the wagon now - I've gone nuts on eBay and have a whole new wardrobe, so I can't afford to put the weight back!

Your eating plan sounds delicious - just the sort of food I like. Well done with the weight loss.
