Essex Girl...

Greetings from a very, very rainy and miserable London! So glad you enjoyed it - was it about the car crash? If so, that is the latest. My sister couldn't put it down either and read it in a week!

Enjoy your holiday, my word you are having a great trip and it is nice to see you popping up every now and then!

Yes it was - "The Best of Times". Got stuck into it on the long flight over here and eventually finished it off on the beach!

Favourite Reading

I enjoy reading Patricia Cornwall, John Grisham and David Baldacci. My other favourites are Michael Connelly, James Patterson, Ian Rankin and Nelson de Mille. I have to admit to reading Martina Cole on occasion, but I don't shout it from the rooftops!!!!!! I also loved the Stieg Larsson Trilogy. How sad that there will be no more from him.

Holiday Reading

'The Lost Art of Gratitude' by Alexander McCall Smith.

Essex Girl

Alexander McCall Smith

I will look out for that one, Kay. I loved all the No. 1 Ladies Detective books then tried a couple of the others but found them a bit boring.

Country Girl at Heart

Alexander MacCall Smith

I agree with you Essex Girl. Loved the Ladies No 1 Dectective series but couldn't get into his others at all.
