bread maker

I had one and gave it away because the bread was so lovely that we 'had' to eat it while it was still warm...with lashings of butter of course!!We both put on weight so decided it had to go. I now make bread by hand in the Kitchen Aid as the bread hook does a lovely job but because its not quite so easy and instant we don't have it as often as we did with the bread maker!

Breadmaker

I know what you mean - it's sooooooo good when it's fresh and warm - great with home made jam. I must say I have to stop myself at this fresh and warm stage - maybe only one.

As a point of interest I ended up by buying a 'cheapie' breadmaker (Dolmedia) from the local french supermarket - only costed about €30. It does all the basic programmes and pings when yoou need to add something. It's great

Lemain, sounds like your one happy Panasonic customer!! Good to hear the first bread you made turned out so well - hope the next ones are just as good.

Lemain's New Panasonic

I will bear your comments in mind in the unfortunate event that I need to purchase another breadmaker. I have looked at an online user manual and it looks great! My 'Intermarche Cheapo' is working fine at the moment and it will be interesting to see how long it lasts as I use it about 3-4 times a week.
