Soup maker

I have always shied away from these even though I have every other piece of kitchen equipment and gadgets. However I saw one on Amazon in December selling at £57.50 which I considered a reasonable price (most seem to be over £100) made by Morphy Richards and with good reviews. I asked Father Christmas to bring me one and he apparently got it from Currys for approx. £20 less. I haven't used it yet but I was attracted to this one because when I make soup (which is regularly) I seem to make enough to feed the 5000 and although I can freeze it my freezers are all full. This one makes enough for our family for one day with maybe a drop or two over. Hope this helps.
