Haven't a clue what galangal is, or need to know what to use if you can't buy creme fraiche locally? We're sure our knowledgeable members will be able to point you in the right direction...
Thanks to Queen of Puds too, she also recommended it. I took some over to mother in law yesterday (a hard woman to please!) and even she enjoyed it. It's still keeping well and I've frozen some pieces too,which came to no harm after defrosting. An all round good cake/pudding. Thanks again.
