Delia Cookery School

Works perfectly on the iPad. Serioulsy nice production. 10/10. Makes you want to make one right away. It would be helpful to give some comment or advice for fan ovens and maybe combos? I can't think why it doesn't work on my desktop - there are still a lot of folk running XP SP3 and I think that MS have given yet another years reprieve for support?

Anyway, really excellent. Anyone should be able to make a sponge with confidence after watching that. And, thank goodness, without all the Jamie-chat :)

Brilliant Cookery School

Delia does it again, I absolutely love it!! Im not completely new to baking having made a number of cakes & more but already I've learnt some new tips about making the perfect sponge. It couldn't be better presented, in a brilliantly simple, clear way. I will definitely be keeping in touch with the cookery school throughout the year to improve my cookery skills.

Delia's Online Cookery School

Just brilliant. Congratulations to all concerned. I'm sure anyone who has never made a Sponge before will have great results. Looking foward to all future lessons.

Delia's Cookery School

Just had a watch of the first lesson, I thought it was excellent. Delia, as usual, presents in a non-fussy style and everything was totally clear. I especially liked the "click if you need more information" and the fact that another click takes you directly to the recipe. Well done Delia and team - classy indeed.

"Thanks for the lovely comments - we are absolutely chuffed1 "

You deserve to feel chuffed. Very nice, pleasing to watch, contemporary without being kinky, and informative. If the series comes out to that standard you've got a real winner.

Online Cookery School

I have only had a quick look but I think it looks great. I enjoy cookery programmes but feel there isn't a lot of teaching happening. Very much looking forward to seeing more of Delia online. Thanks to all involved with such a wonderful idea!

Love it!

I'm from England but living in America and my mother told my about the online cookery school so I had to check it out. I can already cook as I learned from my my mother and Delia, but it was nice to be refreshed with some basic tips! I love it and look forward to seeing more.

first baking recipe

Have been using this sponge recipe for some years but have been flavouring it with coffee, chocolate, lemon etc. Saw the first video and decided to do a plain sponge. Baked it this morning (I am in Oz so am ahead of UK in time) and my husband loved it. I used jam and some raspberries to cut through the sweetness and served it with cream. Big thumbs up from Down Under.

Sponge Cake

Hello Deejai, Have you tried Delia's all in one sponge with raspberries and mascarpone cream? It is a wonderful cake, I'm always asked for this one for birthdays etc.
