Les Mis

I have seen the show and loved it and definitely want to see the film. I have heard really good reviews of it. I love musicals and am hoping to see Top Hat in London for my birthday this year (if it is still on).

I thought Jersey Boys was quite good but not as good as Dreamboats and Petticoats in my opinion.

Les Miserables

I saw the Show in London more than 20 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it so have no interest in seeing the film. Can imagine though if you haven't seen the Show you will enjoy the film. Just like to mention how much we enjoyed watching James Wilson Orchestra last evening on BBC4.

Fantastic

I agree with Saffy its fantastic. Anyone who hasn`t seen it can`t criticise it. Yes its long but for me the time whizzed by and I left with a big lump in my throat. I`ve seen the stage show 3 times. Each show is different: some aspects in each show are different. The singing in the shows is much better but I really can`t say anything negative about the film. Saffy your girls will enjoy it - mine did.

Another bit to add

I should add that both my girls (aged 20 and 23) normally "hate" musicals. They hadn`t been keen to see the film but really enjoyed it and now want to see it a second time. The elder fancied Russell Crowe whilst my younger had a crush on one of the students. So Saffy - take your girls!

LOL, Dottie May!

I've always been after an older woman.

Two problems. 1: Do you think your husband will mind? 2: Is me being a big poof a problem?

Ha ha ha ha!!!

LOL!

You are fickle - one minute you are inviting Saffy out to go to a Kylie concert and now chasing older women - disgraceful behaviour. ha ha.
