hello..pineapple jam

which jam are you talking about? I've just written down the smooth pineapple jam recipe and then scrolled down and noticed the one with ginger. Which is the best one to make? not that I've got any pineapples but I shall look out for some cheap ones and make into jam.
I often make your sweet tomato chutney, it's lovely.

Ginger

The ginger is optional , I make one batch with , then the next one without.
I prefer the jam with the ginger in my yogurt , but prefer the one without ginger in my cakes or smoothies.
If I make a pineapple sponge then I make a filling of cream cheese , icing sugar & a couple of spoonfuls of jam stirred in .It is so delicious.
I have just the one recipe for pineapple jam.

OOPS

Had forgotten about the smooth pineapple jam recipe , I do not like that as much as the one with the ginger
Guess that is why I forgot about it.-:))

Hello

I've lurked for many years and have never posted before and will probably never post again but would like to say that , with the apparent removal of two very vocal posters, it is lovely to see the forum back to its usual chatty friendly self! :)

I agree with Yummy... please chip in when you feel you'd like to. It is difficult when you're new. We used to have a thread running where new members could say "Hi... I'm joining in" and we would welcome people to the site. I'm sure we will remember your name if you do decide to chat with us. If there are any lurkers out there that are thinking now is a good time to start posting, then please introduce yourself.

pleased to see you

Hi everyone, yes I've been popping in & out rather than staying for a while now. It is lovely to see much missed names, the site hasn't been the same & the parties were lovely. I'll bring the sparkling wine!

Hello Kate

Hi Kate... I think you must have been around for a while because it certainly it's a while since we had a party (as far as I know). We perhaps should consider a 'Relaunch' party. I've no idea if all the changes to the site have now been carried out, but perhaps when they have, we should get together in some exotic location and enjoy ourselves? Location suggestions on a post card please.

Hello Everyone

"Hi Kate... we should get together in some exotic location and enjoy ourselves? Location suggestions on a post card please."

Edit: Of course I meant a party on here... but it could be a Caribbean Cruise ship (not done that one yet), or visit Yummy or Sonya, or someone in a sun drench country... so we can get away from this dreary weather for half an hour !

...not much sun at the moment though :) We had a lovely day, then it went to pot and we had some drizzle.... hoping it dries out and we see the moon tonight.

Would you like a day in the forest or down on the beautiful Brittany beaches ?? Just let me know :0))

It's been grey and raining for the last week here!! Although we're glad of the rain after a few dry months.
Better pick a Northern Hemisphere location, I think - you are supposed to have summer soon, I believe!!!
