I can vouch for how yummy gravys recipe is.and i also like it in wholemeal bread with good grind of black pepper and cucumber.have had it in a quiche - but didn't like that.not very adventuous with it as i don't have it that often.
Gravy's recipe is lovely, I often use it with trout I've caught and had smoked.I also like to stuff fillets of chicken with salmon as well, similar to how you would with ham or cheese.TCXXX
Great in fishcakes, either on its own or to pep up ordinary salmon.And lovely in a risotto with green veg like peas, broad beans or asparagus - or a combo of two or more of the above. Very good for a 'ladies light lunch'
Smoked salmon, asparagus, caper and dill flan with dressed green salad and home made mayo.The other is on brown soda bread with a dash of lemon.
To start I eat a slice or two straight from the pack, just can't resist doing that , then I love to have mine with cream cheese in a bagel , or on granary bread.
Love it however it is but quite like to cook some tagliatelle then while it's hot stir in some philly with chives and some thinly sliced salmon cut into strips. Lovely!I often make a mousse like GQ's but TC's idea with chicken sounds delish! Will give that a try.
