What is your favourite breakfast ??

I don't really have an absolute favourite, but just a few are :-

Fruit and Fibre with extra mixed fruit soaked in grape juice until plump

Porridge with walnuts and golden syrup

Poached eggs with smoked haddock

and Good old BLT on toasted Panini, but this would be more of a late breakfast/brunch

what's yours ?

Breakfast

My favourite at home is plain jumbo oats which have been soaked in water and then topped with a little bit of milk, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, mixed fresh fruit and then covered with plain yoghurt. My choice of cooked breakfast when I'm away would be poached eggs with toast, mushrooms and tomatoes.

Favourite Breakfasts

After posting this, guess what I had ?

2 rounds of toast with strawberry jam !!!

sometimes the simple things just hit the spot don't they ?

I also like pork dripping on toast with lots of salt and pepper, although I'm not sure how good it is for you :)

Breakfast

The "Full English" is such a rare treat, so it would be my favourite when away from home and it is cooked to perfection by someone other than me! At home I love Crunchy Nut Cornflakes with banana and milk, or in the winter porridge with golden syrup.

However, good crunchy wholemeal toast, butter and homemade marmalade with really good coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice is very good.

What is your favourite breakfast??

If I'm staying in a Hotel in Wales I always go for the Full Welsh Brekkie. At home it's Bacon, Scrambled Egg and Tomatoes. Most mornings I usually have Toast and Marmalade and a Banana plus a cup of coffee.

What is your favourite breakfast ??

I like american pancakes dripping with maple syrup ;-)), might do those when we have the family down for the weekend. I like a full english too but when I went to N.I. the Ulster fry is very good.

Breakfast

Full English for me! Conundrum time ---

For many years I've had to spend quite a lot of time in hotels. Why is it that two-thirds of women choose brown and 'healthy' spread while two-thirds of men choose white and butter? :)

Favourite Breakfasts

Not sure where you get that idea from Tompeters ! I like white bread and butter, and love Warburtons, while some people call it "plastic bread" I think it toasts lovely !!

btw. that's not to say I don't like home made or artisan breads I do, but NEVER EVER with spread....always butter :)

Sainsburys granary bread, thick sliced with butter and home made marmalade with a decent cup of coffee.

fav breakfast

dippy egg and soldiers.....dippy egg served in an egg cup i was given on my christening day, its a little ceramic one with BIG flowers on it.

i love as a special treat sausage sandwich.

but usually it would be toast and marmite, and we both love wholemeal bread.

breakfast and us, is a hit and miss meal, either we wake up hungry or we don't. I would say out of 7 days, i have a breakfast once or twice in that time.

we have main dinner at about 2-3pm, then maybe a little snack about 6ish.
