Weather

What is it like with you? No snow with us but raining all day - fields very soggy and sheep just standing around looking very dejected. TV News pictures in various parts of the country look horrendous what with deep snow in some and floods in others. Keep safe everyone.

Weather.

Cold here, Dottie May, but no snow and only 10 mins or so of light rain all day, oh, and there was an odd two mins if light hale but it did not settle.

Not doing two badly compared to others!!!

I spoke too soon - it snowed over night about 4 inches. It has started to rain but not heavily. Thankfully, haven't got to venture out today. Have a lovely break in Majorca Noreen and hope you enjoyed your Lunch in the sunshine.

Weather

Here in SW France it is changeable - no snow, sunshine and mild temperatures today 14o at the moment. It was 19o yesterday with lovely sunshine. Daffodils and forsythia now out. Tulips coming along too. I feel so sorry for everyone still freezing in the UK.

Has she been watching the cookery lessons on here Betty? I think it is great that our grandkids enjoy cooking with their Nana's / Grandma's. Enjoy your afternoon.

Snow

Like QJ, we've got over a foot of the stuff & much deeper drifts - and it has just started snowing again. It's a complete pain - daughter finished Uni for hols yesterday & went to Grandparents further south for a couple of days - we were intending to fetch her home tomorrow, but I think she's going to have to stay a bit longer cos we can't get the car out!

What I would give for some good old British rain!! The temp.got into the mid 80's this week in Las Vegas, 17 deg. above normal, (whatever 'normal' means). We had a day of clouds on Thursday and our last rain fall was in February. We may get rain again before autumn, possibly in April.

From the sounds of it, you are having some truly rotten weather right now in the UK. We are also complaining here in Canada, because there should be signs of spring right now.

Shouldn't complain too much though, given that we are having an easy ride vs some of you. For the last couple of days, the temperature has been in the low 40s and it is sunny and dry.
