Ready made Polenta

Hi everyone
I need some nice ideas/recipes on how to use ready made polenta please.

I wanted the powder to use in a bread recipe but my hubby picked up a pack of ready made polenta by mistake when he very kindly did the shopping for me (could hardly complain could I ;-))
Now I've not used it before and on packet it says you can fry, grill or oven bake it..........but with what? What does it taste like and what purpose does it serve in cookery?

Excuse my ignorance on this and thanks for any suggestions.

Ready made Polenta

You'd probably be better off putting this in the Ingredients or Help sections.
That said, I've never bought - or even seen - ready made polenta. But I make my own and use it fried with various toppings. No special recipes but usually vegs. with lots of tomatoes (sometimes use ratatouille) and cheese on top.
Delia has one recipe I found

http://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/cuisine/european/italian/grilled-polenta-with-sage-ham-and-melted-fontina-cheese.html

and probably lots more on Google.

Polenta

Hi Sonia - thanks for suggestion. I'll try again in ingredients and see if anyone on here uses it.
I had never seen it before either - it looks like a block of marzipan!
I have tried to Google it but of course it only comes up with recipes for the powder and not ready made. You can probably use it in same way but just thought I would ask on here as you get such good feedback on this sort of thing (no pun intended)
