Meringue

Can you advise me on the best recipe for meringues, I've lots of eggs, and thought I would make up some meringue and freeze them, is this possible. I have researched this and found conflicting evidence, some say they freeze well, others say they go all mushy. I expect the latter to be true, but wondered if you could help me please?

Hello Cakelove,

I don’t freeze meringues myself but in this meringue recipe the meringues are made and frozen and I know this would have been tested before it was published.

Alternatively egg whites freeze really well and can be used to make meringue once defrosted.
