Salt and Pepper Grinders

Can anyone suggest an efficient type of salt and pepper grinders. I have bought loads of them over the years all of which work for a while and then fail miserably. My latest set were quite expensive and made by Cole and Mason but these have gone the same way.

Salt and Pepper Grinders

Hello Lynn,

Delia and I have had CrushGrind mills from TG for more that 10 years and they have had plenty of use and they still work beautifully.

Best wishes

T & G Woodwares, Bristol do nice ones.

grinders

I'm very happy with my Peugeot pepper grinder. All my others were rubbish.

I also have tried many types and makes of grinders and at last seem to have found one that is the best, as far as I am concerned anyway. I bought Peugeot grinders about 4 years ago and haven't any complaints about them, also bought a set for my daughter and son and they are also pleased with them. Not cheap but in the long run good value!

Grinders

This is timely because the pepper mill in a Marco Pierre White set by Russell Hobbs broke just this week. We've had the set for 7 years so I'm not complaining but I will try the TGs as suggested.

We also bought the Peugot ones about 4 - 5 years ago and have no complaints whatsoever. I think we got them through a company called Nutmeg... As you say, not cheap, but other s & p grinders have come and gone, but these are as good as the first day I used them.
