Recipes Using a lemon Curd

I have a jar and a half of lovely homemade lemon curd leftover from the Angel Food cake I made this week (inspired by GBBO).
Any suggestions what to do with the leftover curd?

Thanks!

LEMON CURD

Try the Delia recipe for Richmond Maids of Honour, really deliscious and as you seem to have a lot available, they also freeze very ell.

I like lemon curd cheesecake. A dollop of lemon curd on greek yogurt with some berries is one of my fave breakfasts or spread on hot crumpets...Mmmmm.

I've made this one a few times. Very simple but extremely good.

This is another one Delia has. I believe it's named after her football team and was served in their restaurant.

Thanks folks, I think the 'unlikely lemon gateau' has won it & I plan to 'assemble' it on Friday.
It really does look most unlikely, with the raw eggs etc so I am very curious!

Let us know what you think. My only comment about that recipe is that I found I needed slightly more of the softly peaked cream to cover the outside.

using up lemon curd

Personally, I would sit down with a spoon and eat it straight from the jar, but that might not appeal to everyone!

Honey made a delicious greek yoghurt and lemon curd fool when we went to visit last year I'veput the link on but it may nt be allowed. If i's removed just google leon curd, greek yoghurt recipes and it's the first recipe to come up on the BBC good food site.

Very simple but utterly divine.

Lemon Curd

Well, I still haven't got round to making the cake yet as planned but I have made the yoghurt fool which was lovely, although my husband found it too tart or 'full of vitamin C' as he put it!

Still have a whole jar left so will do the cake one day.....

Cheers all

Did you do the raspberries sweetened with icing sugar on the top? They take away the tartness.

Lemon curd

Mix with creme fraiche & some extra lemon juice & icing sugar then freeze churn for delicious ice cream, or Nigella has a recipe for lemon meringue cake that is filled with home made lemon curd ....

I did do the raspberries, yes. Perhaps they were not that sweet and I was probably not too generous with the icing sugar. I think my husband just has a very sweet tooth! He's a chocolate man really. I thought it was lovely though and perfect for a day when I want homemade but don't want to work hard!

More lemon curd recipes... Who knew there were so many people are fans of. I have NEVER used lemon curd in a dessert before the last couple of weeks. I may have to make another angel food cake to create more leftover homemade lemon curd!

By the way, I usually serve that dessert in attractive glasses (so you can see the swirls of lemon curd) on a plate with petticoat tail shortbread biscuits. I have the recipe if anyone wants it.
