B&M,SPOT & PRESSURE

thank you so much brother b,it really was nothing!!got to say you can't go wrong with the bart's red/green & yellow curry sauces, pastes etc etc.look at the ingredients & they are exactly what you would make them with from scratch, taste just as good(with the addition of 2or3 bird eye chillies-madge & i like it hotttt!),and mega cost effective @ 59p a shot(nearly £3 direct from bart's but they've discontinued them now hence the b&m stock, hence the second bedroom of my flat looking like a bart's warehouse!)-you couldn't buy the ginger(can't find galangal anywhere)for that.another b&m gem is their kilo packs of gammon pieces(ok it ain't gonna be gloucester old spot, probably just spot...here boy!!)for £1.99.just got in from work, starving, cold outside & need comfort food.couple of handfuls or so of dried marrowfats, gammon, shallots, veg stock, loadsa black pepper, loadsa chopped parsley, pinch of dried chilli flakes-bang it all in the pressure cooker for 20 mins or so..de daaa-faux ham hock/pea soup.chunks of crusty bread & a bottle of ice cold peroni....happy daze!
see you next weekend bb,love to madge

Galangal

Saw it in Waitrose last time I was in the UK. Can't get the B & M website to show me where their stores are, but I know there aren't any in Ireland - nearest one to Brighton would be of interest, if anyone knows where it might be?
