Has anyone been on one of these trips? Reluctantly, after much hassling by my sister I've agreed to go with her on one for 5 days from next Monday. Not my scene but giving it a go!!

I've never heard of them, Dottie. Where are you going?

Paignton. From what I can gather, Hotels are decked out with Christmas themes/decorations etc. Hope I haven't got to eat a Turkey dinner every day!!

Have cancelled my trip to Paignton 'cos OH had a fall Saturday afternoon and has hurt his leg and unable to walk without being in pain. Doctor seeing him tomorrow.

Dottie May-Sorry you had to cancel T&T. Hope your OH will soon recover. We have not done this type of holiday but know several friends who have and I don't think it is turkey dinner every day! We are going to Germany next month to Trier christmas market. A first for us but they all come highly reccommended. Could be lots of Gluwein and Bratwurst.
Take care

Plesed to say Lyn had an xray and thankfully he hasn't broken his hip. The Chinese Doctor (Dennis) said he didn't think it wise for an 81 year old to be climbing over farm gates!! Many thanks folks for the kind thoughts.

I think Dennis might be right... :)

Everytime I see this "tinsel and turkey" thing, I think "T&T" and remember my friend Jen who lives in Somerset.

"you're all T...& T..." we often say to her.

Marvellous women, all tits and teeth. Fabulous smile and fabulous.. well, you get the idea. I do adore her! :)

Very pleased to hear that Lyn is on the right track though Dottie May.
