Was just thinking of you today wondering how you had (or were still) enjoying your holiday. Looking forward to hearing all about it - did you try any new foods?

Antigua....

Hi girls,
We didn't get to Shirley Heights in the end but went into St Johns and did a boat tour of the coastline...very pretty....
We stayed at Galley Bay which was beautiful, lots of thatched bungalows right on the beach along a bay....xx

Antigua....

Sorry forgot to mention the food. We had the same sort of food as in the UK, lamb shanks, pork, chicken etc but I did try 2 different types of fish: Mahi Mahi and butterfish which were both lovely.
We went all-inclusive and didn't have two meals the same throughout the 2 weeks we were there. Absolutely lovely food and drinks but skipped lunch as we had enough with breakfast and evening meal....
Had lobster thermidor one night for an extra 20 dollars and it was definitely worth it....
Red wine and champagne flowed and often sat with a G&T after dinner listening to music and just staring out to sea....heaven!! x

Glad you enjoyed it, Dolly - have never been there, but would love to go. It's always a must to try different food, especially interesting sounding fish which I've done in the past only to find that it's a local name for something more familiar!
