we're off to N. Norfolk for 2 weeks, anybody been to Cookies, at Saltash, great place to take your own wine to help down crab, crevette, lobsters and smoked fish etc. Not posh, just tables either in a summerhouse or outside in the fresh air, always full of fish lovers. Lovely deli's at Cley and Blakney as well. Just loaded up the car with many bottles of white wine! Cheers, will pick up with all the posts when we get back. foxy xx

We went there for lunch between Christmas and New Year - food was lovely, but it was a really cold day and they had no heating on and we were freezing!

Also try The Pigs at Edgfield which you will pass if you are on the B1149.

Thanks Diana for pointing out Cookies is in Salthouse, I knew that think my mind is going!! Called in March, too cold to sit outside so we bought lots to take back to c/van which we enjoyed with a good bottle of chilled white wine. xx

Cookies Crab Shop.

We visited it too whilst staying in the area with our caravan. It was at the time when samphire was in season. Never had it before - it was delish.

Nor should be on commission!

We visited on recommendation, a great place, they plated us up a huge plate of a mixed seafood platters and we took them back to our holiday cottage, plate included, ate them very fresh and tasty, first time I'd tasted samphire too. Then next morning as we passed again we dropped off the plates, no problem! Very trusting.

Well how else do you think Laydee Noreen could afford that big posh Ascot hat?

Hi Jo

Apologies, it could well have been you that recommended it to us!
It was the royale Platter that we had and took home to eat as all the seats were taken, brill idea, we did have our own wine with us, but as it was fully booked we went back to our holiday cottage!
