Cravings...

I think I'm going funny! I like tomatoes - but just paid an arm & a leg for these new type "Sugar" tomatoes on the vine. Can't stop eating them in a sandwich with proper Heinz salad cream out of a glass bottle.
Do other people get cravings? And before you ask - NO I'M NOT PREGNANT.

Recent cravings

Not pregnant either, Granny Cool, but it's been cherries for months now. First English, then New Zealand, then Chilli, most recently Argentine. After a bout of something a while back, cherries were the 1st thing I could eat.

My recent cravings

have been for hot buttered toast with golden syrup - it was yummy. And today, I've taken a fancy for prawn cocktail - tonight's starter before lasagne with garlic bread.
Be a flippin' miracle if I was pregnant!

Gerry - garlic cravings

do you watch Come Dine With Me Gerry? One contestant this week made a creamy roasted garlic soup. All of them enjoyed it, but one guy thought "it tasted garlicky". Hello?

No tv. Fifi, we're socially deprived!!!

A tv-less house!

Very sensible not to have a tv Gerry. Mine is very useful though, as I can shout at the idiots on the screen and release all the day's frustrations quite harmlessly! OH sits back and enjoys the show. Sometimes he joins in.

Cravings

We have a TV with dvd player, but its not connected to anything.

TV-free

James, great to be tv-free when raising kids, they don't see ads so don't ask for stuff.

Cravings.

I'd not thought of that Gerry!

Was it you I remember saying that your kids didn't really have chocolate or sweets until they started school?

I assume treats were lovely home made cakes / biscuits etc?

Yes it was, James. Never much of a cake maker until DoL-ers helped me, but I always made bread. My younger son was 3 when he 1st saw white sliced bread and he laughed for ages. When he stopped we asked him why it was funny and he said because it bends. XX
