Lots!

Rob, There is a lot to do around the Inverness area. Travel north out of the city towards Fortrose and go and see the dolphins and seals. You can sit on the bank for ages just watching them. Across the estuary is Fort George, home of the Queens Own Highlanders - interesting museum and nice to walk around. Then there is Culloden battlefield. It's just been done up and has a good visitors centre. I would also recommend a visit to Made in Scotland shop in Beauly. Lots of nice Scottish things for sale.

And just to keep it foodie... Albert Roux has opened a restaurant in the Rocpool Reserve hotel in Inverness. I haven't been but I've heard good reports.

There's loads to do, I could go on and on. Do a search on the internet and you will get lots of ideas. Of course, the scenery is great and I hope you enjoy your trip up north!
