Pepper corer

Would a pepper corer be a good buy or would it end up another unused gadget?

Pepper corer

Never heard of one, so just Googled and had a look.
I'd reckon just another little used gadget to take up space, for me anyway!
Never thought peppers were that hard to 'core'!

Pepper corer, indeed! On a par with strawberry huller and all other useless bits and pieces.

Agree about the pepper corer!
But I seem to remember you saying the Ikea apple corer/slicer gadget was worth having? Nearly bought one the other day, but resisted! Do you still recommend them?

We have the apple corer/slicer and it's one gadget that we do use regularly. Very simple to use and clean! Would replace if I needed to!

Corers

I have an apple corer which I use when needed but my best little gadget like this, by far, would be my tomato corer which I use ALL the time.
I hate getting the hard white bit in a sandwich, or in any food really.

Sorry for not thanking you all sooner for your replies. Computer problems and I had to wait till my son the fixer got back from USA.
My excuse for thinking about it is that I have very bad arthritis and I think every gadget is going to be the answer to my problems. Unfortunately I usually find that they just create different ones. I read everyone's advice not to buy but when I saw that Lakeland had one in their sale reduced to £1.49 I thought I would give it a go. Tried it yesterday for first time but didn't have the strength to press it into the pepper. However, my husband managed and I must say it worked very well, just leaving a very few seeds. I will keep trying to use it myself but even if I never manage that I feel it was worth £1.49 and that it will get used.
