Mandoline

Keen to know which brand to buy? Or want to share a great purchase with the rest of us? This is the place to do it...

Mandoline

Can anyone recommend a good easy mandoline for a first time user?

Mandoline

I have a 'V' Slicer, which is simple and I find very good - and much cheaper now than when I bought it!!!

Zyliss also do one now, which someone recommended on the forum when this was discussed before. It looks good and is more compact, in fact I probably would have bought one if it had been around when I was looking.

Hope that helps. Others may have more ideas.

Have a look on the Lakeland web-site, they have a selection including the Zyliss which is supposed to be safer to use. I've got one where you have to change the blades and its a faff but can't justify changing it.Friends with the v-slicer all seem pleased with theirs. foxy x
