Do you have trouble cleaning your fine side on your box grater? this is a tip that I picked up that might help. If you wrap a single thickness sheet of greaseproof/parchment/silicon paper round the grater before you start to grate, especially sticky things like apple or cheese, when you have finished remove the paper, the grater will only need cleaning on the inside and there will be quite a bit of grating on the paper which you can tip into the rest.Karen
I often use a dry pastry brush to get the ingredient off the grater into the bowl and find an old toothbrush is good for cleaning it, but I like the idea of wrapping it first.
