I'd not think so. The seal on those jars does not even last properly to use all the coffee, let alone re-using them for something else.x
Hi Pippy, I've used these jars for all sorts of things - I hate throwing anything out! If you aren't sure of the seal, put a couple of layers of celophane or cling film over the plastic seal or run a little candle or sealing wax around the rim - that should keep the air out.Karen
I love these jars! I wish we drank more coffee so that I could have a greater stash. I use mine to put chutneys and homemade mincemeat in them. Perfect size for gifts. I just make sure I use the proper wax discs and cellophane to get a good seal.
I've certainly used them in past for chutneys and pickles and seals seem pretty good. They look good too
