Remoska

Keen to know which brand to buy? Or want to share a great purchase with the rest of us? This is the place to do it...

Remoska

My friend has one of these and says it's marvellous but I can't understand how they work. She does everything in it from roast chicken with vegetables to pizza. Does anyone have one and what is their opinion of it.

Thanks

re Remoska

Hope Merrie will see this and reply, I know she has one and uses it a lot. My neighbour across the street has one too and she swears by it. I know that my neighbour's is the Grand (ie larger) one.

I think Merrie's is the small one, so she will be able to give you an idea of the amount of food that can be cooked in one go.

Remoska's

Hello, Merrie here. I love my Remoska and use it alot. I have the middle size one. They do take a bit of getting used to, but cook beautifully. I do all sorts in mine, mainly pastas, but cook joints of beef (lovely and tender), and chicken. Did try a cake but it didn't really come out right, but it does save on heating up the oven. There are two of us here but it would be enough for four. Any more than that and either get a bigger one, or use the main oven.

Remoska p.s.

I have a shallow pan as well for pasta, and you can get a small half-moon shape to go inside so can cook some chicken in that and vegetables in the main bit - if you see what I mean !!!

My mum bought one and uses it all the time. She's eighty and learnt to use it very easily [unlike the mobile phone!] Mum bought my daughter one as a wedding present and she loves it too.

Thanks for all the advice, next time I'm in the UK, I'll nip to Lakeland and have a proper look at them. Once again thanks for the advice. Wendy

PS. There are only the two of us. My friend's doesn't have a thermostat on it so I gather you can't leave it alone. I have to say, I'm quite keen on the idea.
