HiCan anyone recommend a really baking tray ? I prefer non stick, but more than anything it needs to be solid/heavy and not susceptible to warping (my current Mermaid tray has warped very badly and the non slip surface is in bits - ditto with my Mermaid roasting pan). I have an excellent grey baking tray by Tefal which I bought from Lakeland a few years ago but they no longer stock it and I can't find Tefal baking trays sold anywhere. Thanks in advance !
are pretty good. I've got some and have been really pleased with them.
Im surprised the mermaid ones have warped, they are supposed to be so good (and gawd knows, not cheap!)Lakeland do have a good selection at the mo, some really good looking new style non stick things in the catalogue took my eye, and don't forgot to look the items up on the website because lakeland publish all reviews of the items, good and BAD.....X
Just had new trays from Lakeland, they look very sturdy. Cooked own made potato wedges last hight in very hot oven and they seemed fine. Like James I always look at the customer feedback, have given it myself sometimes. Will be visiting Lakeland(Windermere) at Xmas OH goes for a coffee+newspapers while I delve! He's always needed to stagger to the car with all the bags after.Foxy,x
Try the ANOLON range which are fantastic. You can get them from Debenhams and John Lewis. I use them most days. Had mine ages they are very sturdy and do not buckle. Not cheap but very well made I wouldn't buy any other range, they do the job brilliantly.
This is odd, I've read about Mermaid warping before and cannot understand it. They are so heavy and v.good quality, wouldn't be without mine
