Halogen Oven

I've searched this item on here without success but not sure if it has been queried before? Has anyone got a Halogen Oven and if so can they be recommended? Aldi is selling one for £29.99 this Sunday and I'm tempted.

If you Google 'Halogen oven deliaonline' you'll get the refeences back in 2011 and 2010.
Easier than trying to search on here!!

Hope that helps.

Halogen Oven

When I didn't have a kitchen for a few months I bought one of these and I did use it.It roasts a chicken quite well and there are lots of other things you can make in it and it uses less electricity than an oven, and is easy to clean as you just put water in it and turn it on and it cleans itself. I also have a friend with a caravan and she uses hers in there.
However once my kitchen was built I put mine away and have not used it since.
I think it's one of those things that will get use to start with then gradually not used at all.It also takes up quite a lot of room in the cupboard, and if I had to choose between a halogen oven and a slow cooker I personally would use a slow cooker although I don't actually use either because I just use my oven instead!
Sorry not much help there was I?!!

Halogen

On the contrary you were a great help. I already have and use my slo-cooker so maybe I shouldn't get a Halogen. I'm rather pushed for space in our kitchen and certainly don't have room in any of the cupboards so have decided not to purchase one. Again, many thanks for your comments.

Halogen Oven.

I think you have made the right decision, Dottie May.

To me, its always looked like a gadget I'd get bored with.

I do love my gadgets, but when space is at a premium, you have to concentrate on the gadgets that will get lots of use!
