We know many of you are keen on gardening, so here's your latest plot: dug over, weed free and ready to sow the seeds of new ideas...
Last year OH dug up an old laurel tree stump, complete with roots, and hauled it to a corner. Now we notice piles of sawdust under several spots though there's no sign of ants or wasps. After blasting it clear with the pressure washer, the piles reappeared. Could anyone enlighten me as to what could be in there?
Sounds like wood worm. Are there any tiny holes?
Good idea. Difficult to tell if there are 'small' holes as it's so gnarled but there are definitely at least a couple of largish holes. Will continue the detective work!
