Oranges

I don't know whether anyone can help with this. The dear husband bought some oranges and put them away then destroyed the packaging so I don't know what sort they were. It's a bit difficult to describe he said there were called navel oranges, seedless but I never had them taste 'perfumed' I don't like them at all. When I say perfumed I mean they taste as if they have been doused in perfume, a bit cloying, sickly sweet. Does anyone know what variety these are?

Thanks

Oranges

Wendy, I would try asking this in What's Cooking. It's not really something that the gardeners would know about in the UK. ;o) I don't have an orangery so don't grow them.
