Sounds good. She reminds me of a bird of paradise among her flowers!

Life in a cottage garden

Yes it's the last one tomorrow evening and I've enjoyed every programme. She's a lovely lady, wish she was on every week. I'm going to buy her book to go with the series, have already bought two but they were for my daughters who love gardening, so I'm treating myself this time.

I finally remembered to watch the other 5 (back to back) on iPlayer the other night and really enjoyed them. Wondered when it was actually one and so thank you Violet, I'll try and catch the last one tomorrow.

I love her enthusiasm... and wish I had half her energy. When I watched them,:O( it was blowing a howling gale outside and so I was chuffed that the following morning we woke to a frosty, sunny morning, with clear blue skies and was so inspired that I just had to get out there and make a start.

Cottage Garden

Watched the final episode last night. Enjoyed it. Surprised the apple tree is being given another reprieve. I think she is more sentimentally attached to that tree than her daughter! The two things she has taught me... I will be using grit more (easier) in future and I will get out there earlier in the year if weather allows. Already had a couple of bonfires (we live in the middle of nowhere so not upsetting anyone) and so the garden is looking much tidier than it would otherwise be in February.
